Jojoba oil primarily comes from Spain, Italy and Greece. These countries have mastered the art of jojoba oil production as well as different types of jojoba oils; virgin, extra-virgin or refined each having their own specific color and flavor.
- Virgin: Oil was physically pressed out of the jojoba without any type of chemical use.
- Extra-Virgin: The virgin oil is refined further without chemicals and is the lightest of the jojoba oils.
- Refined: The jojoba was chemically treated to extract the oil in order to reduce the strong taste of the oil. This is usually used as a lower grade of jojoba oil.
- Pure: Combination of virgin oil and refined oil which was chemically processed.
Today, it is produced worldwide in numerous countries around the world because demand for it is increasing very quickly at a global scale. More nad more jojoba oil will be present very soon in most of our products.
